Questions, answered

Do I need an AI subscription to use Uncoder?

No. The visual editor, the Theme Builder and every widget work on their own. Connecting an AI app is optional — when you do, it uses your own Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor account, so there is no AI key to set up in WordPress.

Which AI apps work with Uncoder?

Any app that speaks MCP (Model Context Protocol): the Claude app, Claude Desktop and Claude Code, ChatGPT in developer mode, Cursor, VS Code, Windsurf and others. Uncoder → AI & MCP has copy-ready instructions for each.

Can the AI break my site?

It acts as the WordPress user who connected it and gets only the permissions you allow. Before it changes a page, a template or the Design System, Uncoder saves the previous version — you can undo any change from the activity log.

Is what the AI builds really editable?

Yes. It builds with the same containers, widgets and Design System you use in the editor. There is no hidden code: open the page and change anything.

Is Uncoder really free?

Yes — free and GPL, with no account, no licence key and no tracking. Every widget and feature is included.

Can I move from Elementor?

Yes. Import from Elementor turns pages and templates into editable Uncoder pages — or ask your AI to rebuild them with your Design System.
