FAQ

Questions, answered

Is the free plugin really free forever?

Yes. Uncoder is GPL and every widget and builder feature is in the free plugin, with no account, no licence key and no tracking. Pro and Agency add the starter library, client tools and support. They never take anything away from Free.

What is the difference between Yearly and Lifetime?

Yearly renews every year and includes updates, new starter sites and priority support while your licence is active. Lifetime is one payment: it includes every future update and every new starter site, with no renewal.

What happens if my yearly licence ends?

Your sites keep working, and every page and starter site you imported stays exactly as it is. You stop getting Pro updates, new kits from the library and priority support. The free builder keeps updating as normal.

How do I pay, and how do I cancel?

Checkout is through PayPal: pay with your PayPal account or a card. Yearly plans renew automatically; cancel any time in your PayPal account (Settings → Payments → Automatic payments) and the licence runs to the end of the year you paid for.

Do I need an AI subscription?

No. The editor, the Theme Builder and every widget work on their own. If you connect an AI app, it uses your own Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor account, so there is no AI key to set up in WordPress, and “Make it yours” works the same way.

What counts as a site?

One live WordPress site where you activate your licence. Local and staging copies do not count. You can move a licence from one site to another at any time from your account.

Can I use starter sites for client work?

Yes. Pro covers 3 sites, including client sites. Agency covers unlimited sites and adds white-label, client handoff mode and branded reports for the sites you hand over.

Can I upgrade from Pro to Agency later?

Yes, at any time. What you have already paid for Pro is credited towards Agency, on both Yearly and Lifetime: write to us before you upgrade and we apply it.

What if Uncoder is not right for me?

Write to us within 14 days of buying Pro or Agency and we refund you in full. Your sites keep everything you built.
